Brickyard Car Wash is named for the famous racetrack in Indianapolis, IN, that hosts the prestigious Indy 500. Our car wash packages are named after popular catchphrases from the event.
Every Memorial Day 400,000+ crazed fans crowd the infield and grandstands to hear the Grand Marshall command, “Start your engines!” Then the drivers race for 499 miles. On the final lap the checkered flag is waved at the leading car at the finish line to confirm the victory.
The driver takes a victory lap and then parks at the finish line to "Kiss the Bricks," a line of bricks that were preserved from the original racetrack built in 1901. All drivers strive to win the Indy 500 more than once so they can be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
